This is one of a suite of documents that together comprise the final outputs from the Lancashire Sustainable Energy Study.  Its purpose is to act as a guide and a starting point for planning officers providing advice on planning issues associated with onshore renewable energy technologies, helping to develop appropriate planning policies and guidance and to inform planning application decisions concerning renewable energy. It also provides an introduction to the types and scales of technologies that fall within the renewable energy remit.
