You are invited to jon CLASP for a free briefing and site visit to Otterspool Weir Hydro in Romiley, Stockport.

This is very much a ‘live’ project, which will be commissioned in June ready for official turn on towards the end of June.  As part of the briefing session you will have the opportunity to hear all about the scheme including presentations from:

  • Steve Welsh, Director h2ope, on the background to the scheme
  • Ben Alexander, Director Stockport Hydro, on community ownership
  • Darren Pegram, Sustainability Manager, Stockport Council on the Council’s perspective

There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion, which will then be followed by a short walk to the site led by Steve who will be on hand to talk about the proposals in more detail and answer any queries.
