The Zero Carbon Hub are hosting a series of Part L 2013 Update & Allowable Solutions Consultation events this autumn. CLASP is hosting these in the NW and this page is about the Allowable Solutions Consultation.
Allowable Solutions is a core component of the zero carbon definition, proposing a cost effective mechanism for achieving carbon reductions through off-site measures. Government is therefore seeking guidance from industry on how best to implement the policy.
This event will outline the consultation questions and invite attendees to put forward their ideas on how to shape an effective framework for implementation of Allowable Solutions. All responses from attendees will be collected and passed directly to DCLG, helping to shape future government policy.
A DCLG representative will be speaking on Allowable Solutions together with representatives from EON, BRE and NHBC Foundation. There will be an interactive consultation session exploring key issues including design principles, other delivery options, measures and verification, price cap, delivery routes and next steps.
Agenda details to follow.
