The Committee on Climate Change Adaptation Sub-Committee (ASC) will be holding a series of satellite events to coincide with the launch of their annual progress report to Parliament on 9th July (9.30-11.00).
In partnership with the ASC and Climate UK, the NW Climate Change Partnership, which CLASP is part of, will be hosting one of the events at Manchester University. The event will be video-conferencing the national launch event with Lord Krebs in London to hear his commentary, and we are also hopeful that the technology will allow us to ask questions and hear answers.
The launch event will also provide an opportunity to engage a variety of stakeholders and gather feedback to pass back to the ASC and Defra about the realities of delivering adaptation action on the ground.
Places are free but limited and if the event is oversubscribed priority will be given to members of the North West Climate Change Partnership and CLASP.
