CLASP has teamed up with the Environment Agency to offer a special event for CLASP Members to influence and find out more about the Flood Risk Management Plan (FRMP) and updated River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) for the North West.

These plans will influence critical areas of work to tackle climate impacts and improve environmental quality across the North West. This event will enable you to find out more about these important plans, discuss them with Environment Agency staff involved in their production and have your say on how they might be improved.

Both plans are currently out to consultation – the FRMP is out to consultation until 31st January and updated RBMP runs until 10th April – and this event will be an opportunity to feed your views directly and inform formal responses from your organisations. You can see the plans at:

The event will take place on the 13th January, 10am – 12.30pm, in central Preston.  It will finish at lunchtime with a networking session and hot lunch.
