CLASP are holding a renewable energy update event for local authorities and their partner organisations covering a broad range of issues including national renewable energy initiatives and policy developments, successful funding bids, low carbon energy networks as well as the practical implementation and delivery of featured projects

Updates include:

• The National Perpective - Chris Fry, Temple Group Limited
• Rural Carbon Challenge Fund and Local Energy Assessment Fund - Charlotte Davis, EST and Ben Roberts, Envirolink
• Implications for Energy Networks - Simon Brook, Electricity North West
• Lancashire Small Scale Renewables Programme - Jan McDonald, Lancashire County Council

We also expect to be hearing from a local authority planning perspective on the practical implementation of renewable energy policies.

There will also be panel discussion providing the opportunity for you to ask questions, share your experiences and explore how some of the approaches featured could be applied to your area.
