Climate Change North West (which CLASP is a part of) in association with Climate UK, the Environment Agency, ADEPT, Department for Transport and CIHT is pleased to present a workshop on Local Highways and Climate Resilience at the Environment Agency Offices, in Warrington on Friday 12th July 2013.
This event is for local highway stakeholders concerned with the maintenance and development of the local highway network. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to assess and manage the risks from extreme weather and climate change to local highways. Speakers are expected from the Department for Transport, Environment Agency, ADEPT and professional institutes.
Places are available free of charge to local authority elected members, service managers and officers from highways engineering, maintenance, street services, strategic planning, regeneration, environment and sustainability.
