SME Resilience Workshop

Date

Friday, February 26, 2016 - 10:00

Businesses in the Lancaster District who were directly affected by the December flooding are being invited to a Business Resilience Workshop.

The free workshop will help businesses take the first steps towards becoming more resilient to the climate risks they face both now and in the future.

Ultimately, this will help businesses to protect their bottom line, stand out from competitors, and ensure they can continue to operate when faced with disruption.

Businesses will also be shown the free online Business Resilience Health Check interactive tool. This tool prompts users to think about how vulnerable the different aspects of their business may be to extreme weather events and other unforeseen disruption, and suggests what actions could be taken to build their resilience.

The workshop will be run by CLASP, part of Climate UK, in partnership with the Environment Agency and Lancaster City Council.
