Spotlight On Sub-regions
The CLASP network is now open to ALL public sector organisations across the UK.
This "sub-regional" section remains as an archive of activity from the origins of the network, which was originally NW-based.
In 2010/11 we were pleased to be able to make available a total of £500k to the five sub-regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships for the development of a number of innovative local proposals, including:
- Low carbon and energy capacity building within both Greater Manchester and Merseyside;
- Support for community renewable energy schemes in Cheshire and Warrington;
- Renewable energy capacity study and renewable energy training in Lancashire; and
- Renewable energy support, low carbon transport and tourism studies in Cumbria.
All resources, materials and information generated by these sub-regional projects have been added to the resource library as they were finalised.
You can also find out more about the work of each sub-region (through their CLASP funding, and their current local activity) by visiting their pages on this site, accessed via the menu on the left.
