You are invited to join CLASP at an event that will examine the impact of climate change on social and health inequalities in the North West, consider how social justice is addressed in local adaptations to climate change across the UK, and introducing NW led projects.

The aims of the day are to:

  • Share research findings on the social impacts and social justice implications of climate change in the UK and adaptation responses needed, drawing on new work from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation;
  • Introduce some key issues on health inequalities in the NW and their relationship with our changing climate; and
  • Share perspectives on how to incorporate climate justice into policy and practice, with examples from around the NW.
