The North West Climate Change Partnership and Climate UK are hosting a national programme of local workshops during June & July 2013 on behalf of DECC.

These events aim to support local authority action on renewable energy with a particular focus on renewable energy and onshore wind.

The event is intended for local authority officers and councilors from planning, environment teams and economic development.  This is a full day event and lunch will be provided.

  

Agenda

The session will be chaired by Dr Hugh Ellis, Chief Planner – Town and Country Planning Association.  The main sessions planned are:

There will be 4 events taking place nationally:

27th June         Preston

2nd July           Birmingham

4th July            York
