This was a practical capacity building event for LCR policy planners, covering the practical steps necessary to realise potential decentralised energy zones at the level of an LDF allocations document. 

It covered evidence requirements, proxy measures and assumptions, clusters, benchmarking and viability issues – all in the context of prevailing conditions in the Liverpool City Region. 

The workshop was followed by individual surgery sessions and remote support for each individual local authority and the learning points of the exercise will be captured and published.
